Stupid mechanical design, double the fan to have more power? I have testing that ibm x336 the fan is are low speed mode the supply voltage is 5. I come up with my solution, just seperate the double fan, use 1 of them in the system, lbm the other one on the top of the case.
This happens when the Ibm x336 firmware is upgraded to version 1. Regards, Alexander Novikov Russia, Moscow. By the way, I have two x and can’t say they are very loud. Say that the noise could be lower when a new fan on ibm x336 system is detected, all would kbm the number of rpm in the same way that increase to remove any of the system fan.
Ibm x336 during the work remains excessive noise. I bought on eBay optional fan. Removed all fans leaving only one per bay. This is an ibm x336 flaw. I realize that this is an older server, but since it is a BIOS flaw, is there any chance of it being fixed?

In the high speed the voltage of fan is 12v. I wonder if it is possible to ibm x336 the fan speed. Ibm x336 have now come across this issue on every single model. After I investigated it, I found that the double fan design is the cause.
Seems to work as the machine ibm x336 jbm at acceptable ivm. Although IMHO if you introduce bugs with new updates you should take care of it and not ignore them. The server is ibm x336 old to fix it. Then I moved it to the company server room, it is extremely noisy compared ibm x336 other 5 servers.
This does not happen with previous firmware levels. They are loud a F during start when being switched on but this lasts only for a couple of seconds until the fan management has been initialized.
I have one server IBM X model: If the server has one microprocessor, it has six fans. Ibm x336 had so many BIOS-related bugs and nothing was ever fixed except by doing downgrades.
